Student Enrollment
Students are enrolled in the first grade once they reach the age established by law.
Priority in first-grade enrollment is given to the following students:
- a) Siblings of current students.
- b) Children or siblings of school graduates.
- c) Children of school staff members.
To enroll a student in the first grade, a parent or legal representative must submit the following documents:
- An application addressed to the school principal.
- Two passport-sized photographs of the student (3x4).
- A copy of the child's birth certificate or identity/passport document; for foreign citizens, a notarized translation is required.
- Copies of the parents' identity documents.
- A medical certificate including vaccination details.
- A copy of the child's residence document, if applicable for foreign citizens.
- A copy of the parent's residence document, if applicable for foreign citizens.
- A copy of the parent's social vulnerability certificate, if applicable.
- A personal file will be created for the student upon enrollment.
In the Case of Student Transfer from Another Educational Institution
According to Order No. 193/N of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia dated September 19, 2012, on the approval of student mobility rules in general education institutions, the following documentation must be submitted:
- An application addressed to the school principal.
- The student's personal file.
- Current academic assessments.
- A certificate showing missed hours by subject.
- A copy of the order confirming the student's withdrawal from the previous educational institution.
- A copy of the child's birth certificate or identity/passport document; for foreign citizens, a notarized translation is required.
- Copies of the parents' identity documents.
- A medical certificate including vaccination details.
- A copy of the child's residence document, if applicable for foreign citizens.
- A copy of the parent's residence document, if applicable for foreign citizens.
Classroom Size and Enrollment Process
- The maximum number of students in each class is 25.
- Before enrolling a transfer student, the school may conduct an interview, exam, or test to determine compatibility with the national curriculum level and plan individual support if needed.
- Enrollment may be denied if the number of applications exceeds the number of available places.
- Enrollment is finalized after the contract is signed with the student and their representative and after an official enrollment order is issued.
- The administration is required to introduce the student and parent to the school's internal regulations.
- A student may be transferred to a parallel class based on a parent's request and the decision of the school principal.
